In the US you can find very similar images at Renaisance Festivals and the larger craft fairs. So we have moved these occupations from the main market into specialty areas: it appears that a good number of people want to stay involved in craft work even in advanced societies. Not to mention the folk who coat their own glass plates to shoot LF.
