I had two photos selected for the prestigious Spectrum art exhibit in New
Canaan, CT. There were nearly 1000 submissions of art and photos to select
merely 100. Only about 5 photographs were selected but the jurors and
selection committee. I personally feel that the selected pictures were not
my best work. All of which goes to show that photographers and artists alike
are not the best judges of their own pictures. For example, Leonardo felt
that the Mona Lisa was a minor painting. If you are anywhere between NewYork
and Boston drop into the Carriage Barn exhibit hall in New Canaan to see the
work that East Coast artists produce. The exhibit opens April 20.
