[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]With the newer A7r III, you have the ability to set up several menu pages with your favorite functions on the (I put things like turning the e-shutter on/off, sensor cleaning (shake to get dust off), APC format on/off (useful for family pictures that will only be printed 8x10 most likely), etc.). So very fast way to access those functions that are not available through the Fn button. I also use custom settings 1 and 2 as stated above: #1 is for portraiture (family, street, whatever: really I use it for the autofocus), and #2 for landscapes (single frame, manual focus, focus enlargement, etc.) So the hard part is really understanding what Sony's specific terminology means. I watched LOTS of YouTubes to figure stuff out. Only looked/spent time on stuff I needed. Good luck. Wonderful sensor and the Sony newer lenses are intensely sharp!
