Thanks for the very kind words, Sonny!

The irony is that these images kind of blow lens specs out of the 
water.? Because I was experimenting with a new to me "close up lens", 
which has a 49mm thread, I chose the kit lens from an early Spotmatic, 
the Takumar 55mm f/1.8, because of its filter thread. I have always 
found it to be pretty sharp, and it fit the need. When the Tiger started 
flitting around, I knew I could never track it with the CU lens, so I 
removed it.

That Tiger was shot with the old Spotmatic lens and severely cropped.? 
Go figure !
