I have also been moved by the reminders of the family nature of this group, especially coming up to the 5th anniversary of my wife?s death in Barcelona (23 September) and the enormous support I and my children got from members at that time. I must especially mention Lluis and Greg, both of whom have become special and valued friends. OK, so I have decided to stay for the time being however I do think that the LUG needs to look at itself carefully. I have had contact from ex-members and lurkers who feel exactly like I do and I have a feeling the membership is not as strong as it used to be. Posts like those relating to Hasselblad lens mounts do not in my opinion have a place here, and there are plenty of other forums etc. where such questions can be asked.
