Subject: [Leica] IMG: Turtles, a bird and some lens comparisons

I have the 100-400 Sony G lens and the 100-400 Fuji zooms. I have 1.4x
teleconverters for both.

I?ve been doing some side by side shooting, hand held, with both systems.

I thought I?d share some images. In all cases these images are heavily
cropped. Usually what I?m shooting is far enough to need that.

I?ll begin with a couple of turtles. The annotations for the images should
tell you which is which.

And now a closeup study:

This little bird provided a good opportunity to catch a sequence of images.
First with the Sony:

Then with the Fuji:

And, just to end up, here?s the first photo in a sequence where two turtles
deal with sharing issues for a log:

I think there?s a lot to like about both lenses. The Fuji may be my
favorite. I?m still learning the Sony.

Thanks for looking!
