So the S2 was replaced by the S which is not replaced by the S3.
Some of these reviewers are comparing the 3 to the 2 not seeming to know 
about the S which was CMOS which gave a big boost to the ISO's.

    Nothing that I can find on the Leica USA pages...... Leica has 
apparently split the camera marketing into (more than?) 4 parts by lens 
mount.... CL, M and TL, SL , and S.  The S stuff is pretty thin on the usa
