I can't help but think about the irony.? Back in the 1930s and 1940s, my 
late father-in-law's studio camera was an old wooden 8x10 fitted with a 
sliding 5x7 back, allowing him to get four 3-1/2 x 5 images on each film 
holder.? Now, they reverse the process using these digital backs.
