As my use of the lens is always for near/far, I never move that from
infinity.
No pain at all :-)

FLE lenses had a optical correction for distance.. in ranges....Focus, set
distance range ( I think there were 3-4), take snap.
It ain't all that hard.....nor techie....

I'll have to check, but it is not the most recent; you have to adjust a
separate ring to pick focal ranges. A pain!!
