Have you tried Heliopan filters?  I noticed that on the 39mm filters, they
are slightly thinner than B+W's but still thicker than the Leitz filters.
Maybe you should contact Tamarkin & Co. They deal a lot with new and used
Leica equipment. They might have the filter for you as well.
