In London (Watford actually, about an hour by Underground -on a good 
day- from the centre- SRS Ltd) they are about UKP 260.00 for black 
current production lenses with viewfinder, so your one seems to be a 
good price. I think the first 2 digits of the serial number give the 
year of manufacture, although somewhere I read that someone didn't agree 
this was always the case. Can't comment on performance- (yet) but it 
feels good in use and zone focusing by dof scale is the easy way- it 
involves very little actual focusing. There is a whole article on it in
