No, the photoshop guy is wrong. The focusing area corrsponds only to the
measuring zone for a 135 mm lens!
With the 50 mm lens, you can imagine a circle, with top and bottom on the
75mm frame borders. (The M6 has certinly no spot meter) For a 35 mm lens,
the metered field area is a bit outside of the 135 mm frames.
