Subject: Slow Speed Escarpment Noise

When Leitz added the slow-speed gear train to the Leica, they used a second
'interrupter gear'. This works a bit differently than the faster speeds.
Hence the sound.

The most cogent explanation for this I've found is the lucid exigesis
contained in Dechert's THE CONTAX S CAMERA FAMILY, where he explains why the
Contax S family gear train was so horrid.
