The M6 system is a great choice for documentary work, albeit expensive. My favorite lens combo would be a 21 f2.8, 35 f2 + 90f2.0. The gap between the 24 & 70 is too great for many situations. The 24's cost, speed and necessary finder make the 21 a better bet in a three lens outfit. The new films like TMAX 3200, Royal Gold 1000 are great for most lighting situations at f2; you'll appreciate a little extra depth of field. Most Leicaphiles agree that the 35 f2 is probably the most versatile, reasonably priced lens for most shooting situations. If you yearn speed and being unobtrusive, step up to the Noctilux, the mother of all available light lenses. Regards, Carl Muhlstein Studio City, California P.S.
