LUGs,

I just read a message on rec.photo.35mm that claims that Leica NJ can
convert the CL to use the alkaline 625 batteries. Apparently, the service
costs 37.50 plus shipping.

Does anyone know what this service entails. Is it a simple recalibration or
do they also make circuit modifications?

BTW, can similar conversions be made to the M5 and SL?
