Subject: Nikkor 50/1.4 LTM

  It was a little known fact that back during the Korean Conflict,
many top photo-journalists were using Leicas with the 50/1.4
Nikkor, which was far superior to the 50/1.5 Leitz Summarit of
the time - (it also focused down to 18").

  Have any of you LUGgers actually used & compared the results
of this classic lens to the modern lenses of today?

  How about you Marc, surely you must have tried this great lens
or its sister - the Nikkor 50/2 in LTM ?
