Ernesto - For whatever value it may have, the serial number of my lemon
Tele-Elmarit-M with the bad adhesive is 2659000.  If yours has a number
near mine, perhaps it's another one of the bad batch(es).  One of the
painful aspects of this purchase was that it came from one of the
multi-page advertisers in Shutterbug (no, NOT B&H).
