Mine is sure grungy. And it's only about three years old. Domkes don't hold
up like they used to. Though I still have one hanging around the house I
bought from a National Geographic photo editor I just can't part with.
Hoping it will rub off some luck! ;-)

I would say have the lenses serviced every three or four years. Leica often
runs specials. Call their 800 and ask.
