The diagram shows extreme sharpness all over the image at both corners and center and on most openings. Sharpness slides only back at f/16 and f/22. It has exceptional optical quality and is the absolute reference of its category. Moreover, mechanically it is perfect. The only problem is the high price, but this can more easily be digested as the proud owner knows that this lens is simply without equivalent on the market.
