Get the Leica M handgrip (part number 14405). It will really give you a
better and much more stable grip on your Leica M6. I found it a *big*
improvement in handling the M series.
Looks are one thing, but handling comfort is another one. I would definitely
go for the latter. And I even find the M6 quite attractive with this grip
on!

I've not seen any comment on these in the LUG and would be interested in
others' views. (I'm referring to Leica's own version, not the earlier
independant type produced in the US).
I have one on each of my M6s and have a love hate relationship with them. I
definitely prefer the handling for normal use, but it spoils the classic M
appearance and compactness.
