The issue is NOT what the dealers are asking for these gems;  the issue is
whether they are selling at a premium. 

Obviously, the details on any given sale are confidential.  But note that
the dealers who specialize in Leica tend to avoid these monsters like the
plague.  Notice the number of these 'special edition cameras' which get
listed, issue after issue, in the Leica Catalog.

There simply isn't enough demand on these babies for them to command much
of a premium.  And, given the large volume of 'special edition cameras'
produced by our boys in Solms, it would take a VERY well-heeled collector
to try to acquire a complete set.
