I just like using the M camera, but I also have the R8 and on my last
trip got great images with it (24/2.8, 50/2.0 and 90/2.8 and 180/2.8) I
found that I am having trouble focusing with it with wide lenses
especially in low light and am increasingly using the M6 (now waiting for
the 24/2.8, have the 35/2.0) in interiors and low light.

I haven't used the 28-R (or M either for that matter) but the 35/2.0-R is
also a great lens. No, I haven't directly compared them.

Enjoy what you like to use - R or M they are both great!
