Makes sense to me.  

If the processing was different it would also affect the results.  There
appears to be a lot of fun involved in debating the differences between this
and that lens.  During this time I could have taken one hundred pictures and
thrown out 99 of them.  But that one was worth all of the time and trouble!
Isn't this hobby fun?
