Don,

While I was saddened to read of your hardships in life and your recent loss, I don't
think that you should feel slighted by what was said here. This forum is a place where
honest opinion and experience, as it relates to Leica, is spoken and while some of what
was written was not in praise, it was honest appraisal by personal experiences people have
had.

My experience with you was not as pleasant as I would've liked and I don't mind telling
you that directly, or through what I've written on the thread. When people ask for
others experience, I'd hate to see an unspoken pressure not to be critical because that
silence in itself adds up to a kind of lying.

You can be, and should be, proud that you have so many fans, but that doesn't excuse
some past history that wasn't so wonderful. I wasn't happy with the camera+lens I
bought from you because it didn't live up to your description and even if I had sent it
back, it would've been at the very least, a needless waste of my time to perform the
exercise.

Regards,
Danny Gonzalez
