Sounds like we may be sharing a similar problem. My winder fired off shots
without notice, on 3 occasions, usually soon after taking a shot, but not
immediately following it. I had usually hung the camera and the 70-180
down, and have 9 or 10 slides of very blurry pavement ;-) Since coming
home, I've put the winder back on the camera and wandered around the house
waiting for the fault to resurface. So far no extra exposures to my
knowledge, but then there is no film in the camera, so perhaps your idea
that it is related to the loading routine is correct. Everything else seems
fine, but the litany of disasters related to the Leica SLR are certainly
mounting up. A disaster like this could ruin a company which is founded on
the notion of quality, and I'll bet there are some worried company
executives. Please report any progress or information you get on the
winders problems, and how to fix them, I feel a very P76 shafting about
this one.
