It's an understandable addiction. After a while you would probably begin to
trust the G2, but it's a real distraction when you're shooting: Where did I
focus? Did I really hit it? My memories of my Nikon 8008s hunting for focus
and settling on some unacceptable position haunted me when I was shooting a
roll with the G2. There's no visual reinforcement that the focus is
correct. It's unnerving.

Some of the G users out there are probably thinking I should see a doctor
about this condition. No, thank you, I feel fine!
