I think it is a rather elegant looking camera, its lenses are no slouch either. I have one and really like it after getting used to its quirks, still prefer the M, but for many subjects the G works great. And as far as being discrete goes the G is everybit as good as the M. Even more people think you are just a happy snapper because it not only looks like a nice P&S it sounds like one too. :) Something to be said for the AF and motor in this day and age of auto everything cameras.
