Well, as they say, Britain and the US are two countries separated by a
common language.

:-)

We all have to be careful in our use of language, and judging why people
might take offense at what we say. (Me too!) But to throw around terms like
PC (not computer, political correctness, which I object to being labeled as
such) because we are sensitive to people feelings is throwing gasoline on
the fire.

How to be politically correct in the photographic world (tongue firmly
planted in cheek):

Black tape on the word Leica, Nikon, Canon...
No red dots, you'll scare the wildlife away, except the bull...
Leica isn't better...nobody can tell the difference...
M is better than R...
R is better than M
Japan makes the best lenses now...David Douglas Duncan proved it in the 50s...
Opinions are meaningless...
Test charts on the wall give us objective facts on lens performance...
Zoom lenses are never as good...
Negative film can't show Leica quality...
Fast film can't show Leica quality...
Sharpness is above all the most important quality criterion...

One word to answer such PC attitudes...

Humbug.  :-)
