Hi all,

As you may re-call I said I'd keep an eye for Leica's in use at the
Commonwealth Games in KL Malaysia.

Thinking I would probably be the only Leica photographer at these Games,
I was surprised last evening during the Opening Ceremonies to see a
photographer shooting with an M6 & visoflex with what appeared to be a
180?

Not only that, but a few minutes later he raised a beautiful new black
R8! I was not alone !!!!!!!!!!! :)

Incouraged I might find more, I kept an eye during the events of today
but alas, none could be found. There are approximately 450 accredited
photographers, which the majority appear to be carrying Canon big glass!
There sure are a mass of white lenses around. :)

The joys of using a Noctilux and E200 colour slide film is, you just
shoot away while others sit and watch or pop flash and destroy the
magical motivating light. The quickly changing coloured lights in the
interior of the 110,000 seat stadium were a piece of cake for the good
ole Nocti. Man that is truly a wonderful piece of glass even after 31
years of use!!!!!

And you truly shoot where all others fear to go!!!!!! :)

Just thought you folks might like to know.:) Watch for more little
thingies. :) Oh yeah I finally cleaned the last of the ant bits out of
the shutter after a couple of days trying. :)
