Yesterday I photographed a political meeting (we have election day on Sunday). I had to work with the lens wide open at 1/125th, and the old lens performed very well. (One of the photos is at http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Oracle/5799/election.htm ) I am not a nostalgic user of old lenses, but I see no need to change my 90 until the new APO-Summicron is released. Well, today I got my new Elmarit-M 21 ASPH, maybe it will take over as my new favorite lens, we will see... I met Tom Abrahamsson last Sunday, and we had lunch at his mothers place. I got a nice surprise present from Tom, and he is bringing the same surprise to all LUGers coming to Cologne. I will reveal no more...
