Here is a rough translation of the text:

New product: Leica Screw mount G-Rokkor 28mm f3.5, originally used for
the TC-1 compact camera.

Announced on Sept. 11, 1998.

Minolta Co has anounced that it will release 2000 of its G-Rokkor 28mm
f3.5 in the Leica Screw mount.

MSRP: 110,000 JPY (with hood and caps) = $800 USD
Availability: Late September, 1999
Quantity: 2,000

This is a Leica screw mount lens whose optical formula is identical to
the lens used in the award-winning TC-1 which has been on the market
since March 1996. THe 28mm focal length is convenient for snapshots and
sceneries, composed of 5 groups, 5 elements, with three aspherical
surfaces including an element with aspherical surfaces on both sides.
Abberations are well corrected, and it offers high contrast and
resolution, providing a brilliant rendition of images. Lens surfaces
are multicoated to eliminate ghosting, and offers neutral colour
balance. The metal exterior design is classic, with traditional manua.l
controls such as the aperture and focussing rings.

Features:

Excellent performance, as already seen on the TC-1
     Only 2cm (0.8") thick
     Classic design

     Focal Length: 28mm

aspherical lenses with 3 aspherical surfaces
     Aperture range: 3.5-22, 9 leafs
Focussing: manual, 0.8m (32") min., maximum magnification of 0.039x
