I recently picked up a Canon Serenar 50/1.8 in Leica screw mount,
largely because it came attached to the SM to M adapter and a
Leica lens cap that I wanted, but also because it may not be too
much worse than my Summar 50/2 :-)

Serial is 62638

Can anyone tell me anything about this lens -- age, reputation,
market value, or anything else?  Glass is good but not perfect.
