Hi Jim,

The mistake is, that Leica even considered making an M6 with TTL in the
first place!!!!!!!!!  Quite frankly.......sheer stupidity to appease a few
happy snappers who need flash! :)

When you use an M6, which is the ultimate of available natural light
picture taking machines in the first place, then require flash, fill or
otherwise, to take your pictures speaks of the lack of the photographer's
ability to see light and make it work for him or her.

If one considers Leica is synonomous with available existing light and the
work of HCB, Capa and others, why in heavans name would one need the twinky
flash to make a picture?  If you really know anything about light, as
"light is the life of the picture," one should know how to make the light
motivating them in the first place work and not require twinky flash to
supposedly make it look right.

I find this whole conversation on the TTL M6 and the whining a terribly
tiring subject, if you know anything about light at all. It does seem the
whiners are at it again because,

A/ because the flash sync speed isn't high enough,

B/ why didn't Leica do it right and change the whole thing to accomodate
1/250 etc etc etc whine whine whine!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heck, if these people had a hollywood lighting crew to set their lighting,
they still wouldn't be happy. It sure seems a number of them out there
don't understand how to use existing available natural light in the first
place.
Hell, if a photographer knows anything about "real time Light" they don't
need flash!

Ladies and gentlemen, if you require flash for your pictures, please go buy
a Canon sure shot, as they work perfectly well! :) Well OK, one of the
insta-Leica point and shooters! :)
