I've driven out to see my daughter going to Texas A&M and drive across
California, then Arizona, then New Mexico and when we get to El Paso,
we're about half way there--and College Station isn't even all the way
East in Texas.  Your eyes cross from looking at straight lines.

Then there's Russia.  A friend who grew up there in Siberia told me the
other day that many professors and other seeking some freedom moved as
far into Siberia as possible (11 time zones across) so that the people
in Moscow couldn't easily reach them by phone and trouble their lives. 
It worked.  When those in Moscow were awake, those in Siberia were
asleep and not answering their phones.

What does this have to do with Leica?  Well I've seen some pix by
Anthony Suau of Siberia (who shoots BW with Leica).  There.
