At -20, it's going to pull a whole lot less film through the camera than at
normal temperatures. That is the minimum in bad conditions.

And EOS1n with a 400 2.8 in very cold weather can go through a $13 battery
in three rolls of film, so I'm told by pros who do it at football games.

And now that the rechargeable battery is available for the winder, it's a
moot point anyway.
