Alexey,

The 12538 vented lens hood is identical (in configuration and size) to
the earlier 12585, but the 12538 is constructed of black molded plastic
instead of black anodized metal as is the 12585 lens hood.  Both hoods
have the two squeeze-grip buttons that operate the locking mechanism
that engages the outer flange of the lens.

The 12585 M lens hood is also usable and engraved for the original f/2.8
50, the f/3.5 50, the f/2.8 35 and the f/3.5 35 (so would the 12538).  I
have used the 12585 on the f/2 35 and have seen no problem with the
resulting image.  Trust that this information is helpful.
