Hi Peter,

if it's convenient I'd return to the store, find the manager and the clerk
and exlain to them they are misleading their customers and potential new
ones.

After giving them whatfor in no uncertain terms leave and find a store
where the staff knows what they are talking about.

Buy the circular polarizer!
