The word 'peanuts' springs to mind here, but maybe us Europeans might prefer
pistachios?

The great evergreen oak trees in Holkham Estate (N. Norfolk, England) which
was once a larger estate than even the King's, were planted from similar
packing material! After his purchases from his Grand Tour arrived back in
England, Lord Leicester decided that the Mediterranean acorns should be used
and so developed the magnificent grounds that now exist.

Seriously, I'm sure that your packing suggestions are as sensible as they
need to be, you can always ask Solms to assess the gear once you get there
and redesign the packing on the way back if this becomes necessary.

I've a Moto-Guzzi V35 Imola, but fitting the multi-grade head is a real
pain!
