Go back in the archives, when I challenged Erwin. I learned my lesson. I have suggested to Erwin in private E-mail that his record stands for itself, and I will discuss this off-line with anyone who wishes. But, again, this is the Leica USERS' Group, not the, "let's commit ritual destruction of our most honoured member" List. Erwin's work stands on its own two feet. Read his reports. Comprehend them. Ask him if you do not understand them. Learn from them. He is a prince of a researcher. His contributions both to this List and to Leica as a whole are worth more than we can ever pay him.
