Well hold on....there is a flaw in the logic.   If you are going to use the
camera, thereby putting the inevitable "few marks and scratches" on it, why
not buy one with those those marks and scratches already in place, at the
"significantly lower price"?  In other words, don't buy a collectable, buy
a user.
