Subject: RE: [Leica] Adapter 14167 & 14127

There are an almost infinite range of variations among most Leitz/Leica
adapters. In this case, there are three major variations, with lots of
minor differences within the families:

14127/14127*/14127F	Leicaflex, will work on later cameras for stop-down
metering
14167, old style two- or three-cam for use on SL/SL2/R3 &c
14167, current no cam at all, stop-down metering only

I have a 14127F I use with my APO-Televid camera adapter and R ocular to
give me 64X. A cumbersome way of getting there, but it is the highest
"Leica" power available on this fine scope.
