In a family trip in Florence in '70 (I was 20) my whole family sat and
drank espresso (my first cup ever perhaps) and watched a guy haul away
at his girl friend with her handbag right on the street corner
endlessly. After a while it became remarkable as to how well the strap
was holding up as well as how this whole activity went without notice.
Now when I think of handbags I think of Italy.
