Actually, no.  If they publicly announced *now* that they were going to be
releasing an M7 next year at Photokina, chances are that a fair number of
people would hold off buying an M6-TTL or M6HM-TTL, in preference of waiting
for the new M7.  It makes perfect sense instead to start an advertising
campaign for the existing gear, perhaps coupled with rebates to make the
acquisition process less painful/more attractive.
