The body was 20-40% underpriced, and they had a far (4x as many bodies) better collection than the 'collector's' stores near the British Museum. Great, unhurried service, knowledgeable sales staff, and they test every body for shutter/rangefinder before they sell it. Does it get any better? The same thing going daily on ebay for more. Go figure. They have a website at www.ffordes.co.uk with up-to-date stock lists, but it doesn't reflect the quality of the store itself. Best thing is to email stevebyford@ffordes.co.uk, and get a personal (and helpful) reply. I was so impressed I almost bought the company. Okay, I lied. I almost bought a camera bag.
