Granted - (Sorry, Ted) - LUGers could never be accused of staying on topic, what with endless discussions of single malt scotch, underwear, and hats...But somehow those threads have the most tangential links to Leicas, their use, and photography in general...HOWEVER...The two current dominant threads - the morality of executing those under 18, or of executing anyone for that matter - and the generally boorish or heroic nature of those who happen to have been born north or south of the 49th parallel, not only have NOTHING to do with the purposes of this mailing list, they are guaranteed, because of their highly emotionally and politically laden nature, to totally destroy it. Dr. Blacktape is signing off for a while to make some pictures - oh, and he would like to apologize for the foolishness of his friend Colen who made the mistake of making an early, if brief, contribution to the death penalty thread.
