Absolutely!  The M5 is a terrific camera as are both the SL and, especially, 
the SL2.
I have them all in addtion to some later gear as well.  The quality of the M5 
is in keeping with the earlier Leica bodies and the meter is just wonderful. 
I much prefer it to the LED display of the M6.  However I do have to say, 
that for low light use the R7 ( I don't have an R8) is considerably more 
useful. But low light is not what I normally do.
