One of the things I like about some of the other forums and user's groups
that I belong to is that they all have "Off-Topic" areas where members who
have gotten to know each other can carry on coversations on topics unrelated
to the purpose of the forum or group (without going to private Email where
others are excluded).

One of the things I like about the LUG is that those who criticize topic
threads for being off topic and ask that discussions be taken elsewhere
always manage to squeeze in their own opinions on the subject first.
