Subject: [Leica] Minilux & XPAN musings (was: Is it possible to shoot panoramic with a Lecia)

I have a Minilux; there's an insert for the camera that crops the standard
35mm framesize down to a panoramic one. Is there anything similar for the
M6?

>(1) It is very easy to shoot panoramic with the Leica.....simply crop the
>print!

Hey, that's what I was going to say! You beat me to it. This seems to be the
easiest option to me.

>(2) Look at the Hasselblad XPAN camera for an exciting, reasonably priced,
>camera which is made for panoramic (and conventional) photography.

There only seems to be about three lens for this camera. Aside from that
weakness, does anything have any other thoughts on the Hassey rangefinder?
What about the quality of the lens?

Thanks,

Les
