The 1520 is older technology but looks more robust. I spook to the Dutch distributor who informed me that there were some production problems with the cartridges at Lyson and advised me to wait to the end of January before deciding about buying a printer. The 1520 is getting very cheap but will they continue to make the cartridges? Unless there is the possibility to refill? " There is also something of a learning curve with quadtone inks >(including refilling if you don't want to go broke - again, I'd rather fill >4 than six ink chambers!)." Where do you get your supplies from? These things are somewhat difficult to get hold of in beautifull Tuscany! Ciao >>
