Generally if your thinking of doing landscapes with a very wide lens you do
not want to use a polarizer. you will get very uneven sky exposure.

Subject: [Leica] Filter size for 40mm lens - OT

would anyone know what filter size fits on a Nikkor 40mm f4 lens (fits
on a Bronica EC) ? I've tried the newsgroups but rather desperate for an
answer today. I'll be bringing my M6 35mmf2 Asph. and a borrowed Bronica
to a Yellowstone/Teton trip next week and want to buy a polarizing
filter for the Nikkor 40mm lens. Someone thought the filter size was
90mm but i have to be sure. And without having the lens infront of me to
check out until i get to the vacation spot is a bummer. I'll be placing
an order on B&H and hopefully it gets to L.A. by Friday standard FedEx.

thanks bee lian.
